The Fukuoka City Public Library is a multifunctional, central facility for the promotion of lifelong learning that meets the needs of the modern era. This new-type, comprehensive library is comprised of three divisions (the Library, City Archive, and Film Archive) and can stock a whopping two million titles, making it one of the largest libraries in Japan! It is also the only library in the country to have annexed facilities like a movie hall (Cine-la) and Mini Archive Theater! Events are held every month, so check out the online bulletin board for details.
